LONDON ROAD, GRAND PARADE

Not of course aeroplane views, but photographs taken from the tower of St Peter’s Church, in the year 1912. Looking south this shows a narrow Gloucester Place with trees and shrubbery’s in the stretch between Gloucester Street and Blenheim Place, removed in the early 1920’s when the road was widened.
