KINGS ESPLANADE

After the completion of Medina Esplanade earlier in the century, the sea made serious inroads along the stretch immediately to the east. An extension to the sea wall became necessary but it was not until the years 1924-1925 that the work of continuing this to a point opposite Fourth Avenue was carried out.
