HOVE HOSPITAL PARADE

The procession turning from Conway Street into Conway Place. These parades were held annually, usually on a Sunday and were organised by Trade Unions and Local Workingmen’s Associations by a band, the procession toured the main streets of Hove collecting funds for the benefit of Hove General Hospital.
The custom died out with the 1914-1918 War.
