AERIAL VIEW OF ALDRINGTON – AUTUMN 1929

Because of the number of roads in which houses are being built, it is possible to date this photograph within a few months. Beyond Marine Park, Saxon and Roman Roads had yet to be built and further west there are gaps where Glastonbury Road and St Keyna Avenue are now. In the foreground are unmade roads, Princes Crescent and Princes Square. The old Hove – Aldrington boundary was just this side of the Tennis Courts.
