73 and 74 Boundary Road, built about the turn of the century, remained as private houses until 1927 when shops were built out over the small front gardens. 74A was a much later addition. The photograph was taken in June 1957 and soon afterwards these buildings were demolished. Woolworth’s Store was later built on this site.
