WESTERN ROAD, MARLBOROUGH STREET – REGENT HILL

This old photograph is of the old Golden Cross Inn at the corner of Marlborough Street. Built in the 1830s as a private house, and known for some years as 163, Western Road, it became an Inn in 1854. It was demolished with adjoining properties in 1928.
