WESTERN ROAD, IMPERIAL ARCADE – NORTH STREET

207/212 in February 1934, just a few months before the whole block was demolished. Note the gap left by the earlier removal of Fowler’s Corner. Although the Malsters Arms, No. 210, was not one of Brighton’s oldest public houses, the building had been licensed premises for nearly 100 years, being originally a beer house.
