Probably the best and certainly the clearest of many of the photographs of the damage to the West Pier. It was taken by the then well known photographers Messrs. W & A H Fry of 68 East Street, Brighton.
Nearly a century later, we face an almost similar scene, not due to the force of the elements but to man’s neglect of this beautiful Structure.
