Additional Information: We are informed that this 1920's aerial postcard photograph of Brighton was produced by prominent local photographer and prolific postcard producer Alfred William Wardell (AWW). Born in Newport in 1878, he first produced postcards in Brighton just prior to WWI and had a number of local premises. He was notable as a pioneer of aerial photography after WWI, and lived in the local area until his retirement and death in Worthing in 1962
