Close up of the buildings from Portland Street to Windsor Street, 135-138 North Street, in 1937. Attree and Kent, Auctioneers & Valuers, had occupied 136 for upwards of 80 years, at the time of its demolition in 1938. Another very old established business, Folkards, the pawnbrokers was next door to the Insurance Company.
