LEICESTER STREET

Looking North from Edward Street showing a distant view of Pilgrims Cottages. Their rough-cast exteriors gave them quite a modern look but they were probably of the same age as the cottages, dating from the 1850s. They are to be demolished under a slum clearance scheme.
