CARLTON HILL

Taken on July 10, 1979. The boarded-up house was for many years St John's Church Vicarage, but when the last vicar left in 1978 it remained empty. After being derelict for several years the building was taken over by American Express, whose main premises are in rear, and completely renovated in 1985. It is still there.
