HIGHCROFT VILLAS

These two large houses, Nos. 7 and 8, were built about 1883/5. This road took its name from Highcroft, a house standing in extensive grounds in Dyke Road. Photographed 27 October 1963, the houses have since been removed and a block of flats is now being built here.
