Two photographs of Steer’s greengrocers shop, at 24 Upper Hamilton Road, but divided in time by as much as 66 years! This photograph was taken in 1910 and a small boy is seen to the right of the doorway. This photograph of the shop, was taken on 3 June 1976 and by then the boy had grown into the man standing in the doorway Mr Steer, the proprietor of the business.
