ALBION HILL AREA-CAMBRIDGE STREET

In this view is a photograph of Cambridge Street, in April 1956. This was the next street above Ashton Street, to which it was similar in appearance and period. The same builder may have built them. This street was hit by bombs during the 1939-1945 War, and nearly all the houses on the east side were demolished. Those seen in the photograph went in December 1958.
