REGENCY MEWS

Two more photographs of 19 May 1985, but this time from inside the mews. The view is east towards Russell Square and the large facing building is that of which the front is seen on the previous page. The smaller buildings seen left are the backs of commercial premises in Castle Street, the nearest one being where William Knight had his shoeing Forge which is seen on an earlier page. Some years elapsed after the demise of the garage business before redevelopment began in 1990/1991, but the offices known as Russell House, flats and houses now stand here.
