ROYAL PAVILION GARDENS

This view from within the grounds looking north was taken at the same time as the previous photograph. When the walls and railings were removed, twelve of the large trees were felled and the shrubs were thinned out. By the inner rails shown in the photograph, was a walk running from north to south, several feet below the surrounding level, but this was absorbed in the widening scheme.
