QUEENS ROAD

Before the advent of the Trams and Motor Buses. The Horse-Buses stand where the No 6 Motor Bus stood in the early 1920’s, before Junction Road was formed. The buildings show little change, the east side being as today except for the garage premises erected where the hoarding stands. The building on the extreme right of the photograph is the Queens Head, now the first building on the west side.
