QUEENS ROAD

Two photographs of the early 1950’s, concentrating on old established businesses, which have now passed from the Brighton scene. Rose’s the pawnbroker’s, at 124, on the east side. This was founded by Philip Rose in 1853, but closed in 1956. Both businesses had been in the same premises throughout their lives.
