HIGH STREET ROTTINGDEAN

We shall never see these buildings again. Both photographs were taken in 1930. The policeman was standing at the crossroads where the coast road bisected the High Street. Behind him is the rear wall of the White Horse Hotel. This is now the busy Rottingdean crossing controlled by traffic lights.
