Four postcard views of Saltdean Lido and Butlin’s Ocean Hotel, which also show the piecemeal way in which this suburb of Brighton was developing. Remembering that this Lido was derelict for some years after 1945, I should think that all four were taken in 1938/9, just before the start of the Second World War.
