ROTTINGDEAN ROAD

The Rottingdean Road at Ovingdean Gap. This shows the old narrow road, about 1914, high above the cliffs. Continued erosion by the sea brought the road to within a few feet of the edge, so that the present road was constructed a good distance further inland.
