SOUTHWICK

Three photographs of farming scenes at Southwick, dated by the photographer as 23 August 1892. There are no clues as to their location, but it looks as if the workers and gleaners were on Downland above the then quite small village.
No one went hatless in those far-off days, nearly a century ago.
