ARLINGTON HOTEL, MARINE PARADE

9 Marine Parade, was originally a private house, than a library and from the 1850s onward, was occupied by Parsons and Sons, Auctioneers and Valuers, for nearly half a century. In 1910 it became a Hotel, first the Carlington and then in 1908, the Arlington. It was demolished and rebuilt in its present form in 1935.
