VOLK’S ELECTRIC RAILWAY

Electric car crossing the beach adjoining at Banjo Groyne, October 1919. This was one of the two saloon cars that were built in 1884. They were solidly built in mahogany and were still running until 1940 when the railway was closed for the War. They were scrapped in 1948.
