WEST STREET

Nos. 32-34 West Street shortly before their demolition. On the vacant site beyond, the erection of Bostal House has been commenced and during the next four years an imposing Insurance Companies buildings were completed, completely changing the character of the street. Manville House, No. 34 was for many years occupied as a Brewer’s store. Note the narrow entrance to Bunker’s Hill, a warren of 10 very ancient cottages.
