KINGS ROAD.

A distant view of the beach and Kings Road, from the far end of the West Pier, about 1868. Just to the right of the Grand Hotel can be seen the top of St. Pauls Church, which then consisted of a temporary wooden cap. For an explanation of this, see photographs in the Old Town album.
