WESTERN ROAD

By 1971 business had so increased that rebuilding and extensions became necessary. This was done by first acquiring the adjoining shops which were demolished and replaced by modern offices, seen here at the right of the picture. Next, the original premises were removed and the new offices extended over the entire block. The photograph is undated but would be in the mid-1970’s.
