The corner of Montefiore Road and Lyndhurst Road in 1923. At this period there were only a few houses in Montefiore Road though the areas to the east and west were fairly built up.
To the left are 1 and 3, Lyndhurst Road and behind, houses on both sides of Avondale Road. By 1928 most of these vacant plots had been built on.
