COOMBE LEA

200 yards to the south was this house, in Grand Avenue. Much more modern, of course, it was the last house built by Willetts for a Mr Duff. This was a fine well-appointed house, with a large formal garden, which had a short life of only 30 years, being demolished in November 1958.
