HOVE FIRE STATION

The Hove Volunteer Fire Brigade Station was opened at 85 George Street, about 1878/9. Even when it became a professional Brigade it continued to occupy these cramped, inadequate premises, and remained here until June 1926, when the move was made to the present, much larger, station in Hove Street.
