BLATCHINGTON ROAD

Looking west along Blatchington Road at about the same period. The north side of this road consisting almost entirely of private houses, trees had been planted at regular intervals. As traffic increased these became a nuisance, and at the request of residents and shop keepers, they were removed in 1925. Motor buses first traversed this road in the same year.
