RAILWAY SCENES IN WEST HOVE

Motor train headed west, with the bridge in the background. This is not the present Olive Road Bridge, but an earlier narrow farm accommodation bridge, rebuilt in the early 1930s. The chimney was that of the Ice factory in Portland Road, and the church seen is St Leonards, in New Church Road.
