I must admit that I do not know for certain, the location of these two photographs. I can only repeat what I have been told, but I have many misgivings.
This view shows a festive scene at King’s farm, off the Droveway, on the day of Edward V11 Coronation, in July 1902. If this is correct the view would be north-eastwards to the cottages which still stand in the Droveway, the field being the site of the present Elrington Road.
