WESTERN ROAD: MARLBOROUGH STREET – REGENT HILL

Nos. 175- 180, the Golden Cross, and Johnson Bros. premises have been rebuilt and the new buildings can be seen peering behind Cave’s derelict café. Woolworths remain on the old building line. The last relic of the "Dardenelles" is represented by the forlorn lamp standard opposite the cleared site and seemingly in the middle of the roadway.
