HOREB TABERNACLE

Otherwise known as Preston Park Baptist Church with the empty waste ground behind it, photographed on 21 March 1965. Built in this hollow during the early years of this century, it may now be raised by another storey with an entrance at street level. A small block of flats, called Acacia Court has been built facing Herbert Road and another on the Surrenden Road frontage is projected.
