FAIRLIE PLACE, SURRENDEN ROAD

The house stood in a large area of ground, the gardens to the west and north falling away to the valley of the London Road. Here are three photographs taken in these gardens. In the high summer it was easy to imagine that one was in the heart of the country. Now that the buildings have been cleared a good space is available for redevelopment.
