QUEEN SQUARE

The peaceful scene looking into Queen Square, from the corner of Western Road, with the policeman wondering when the next traffic was going to arrive. Fowler’s shop is empty, awaiting demolition, so the year is 1929 when it was removed as part of the Western Road widening.
