ST JAMES’ STREET

This photograph is an interesting complement with the large one on the previous page, as it shows almost the same area, at No. 64. Some traces of the old building remain notably the ridged wall (far left) while the side window above is seen in both photographs. The furniture store of H.Harris is still there, while the adjoining building at No. 65 was the Lion Hotel with stables in nearby Atlingworth Street. Year of the photograph unknown.
