AERIAL VIEWS OF KEMP TOWN

This photograph will reward careful study under a magnifying glass. It shows the whole sweep of Lewes Crescent with Sussex Square, but it is the gaps and open spaces which are the more interesting. Note the narrow Whitehawk Road, Bristol Street as yet unbuilt on, the lane crossing farm land (now East Brighton Park). Date unknown – about 1922.
