THE DEN, 14 DYKE ROAD AVENUE

Behind the rear of the house was a small orchard and a large vegetable garden, extending for some 70 yards. At the far end, hidden from view from the house, were the stables and coachman’s house, seen here in a sorry state of dilapidation. Finally a high wall separates the estate from the houses in Withdean Road.
