DIALS CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH

This was erected in 1870 at a cost of about £11,000, and the adjoining institute was built in 1881. A building in the Romanesque style, the clock tower was 130 feet in height. The last services were held in June 1968, and the building was sold at auction for £30,000 on 19 May 1969. Demolished May 1972.
