REGENT HILL AND REGENT COURT

A view of the derelict and empty Regent Court in 1955, showing also the house 12, Regent Hill. On the left are the backs of the houses in Upper North Street, which were demolished in 1960 and in 1962 the new Ministry of Labour building was erected here. This has completely obliterated the site of the old court, the houses in which were removed as long ago as 1935.
