SUSSEX TERRACE

Sussex Terrace looking North, 2 March 1958. When the road was driven through to Richmond Street in the 1880s it was widened throughout, though no houses were built on the east side for another 20 years. The original houses were built in the 1850s and 1-7 were destroyed by a German Bomb during the War.
8 – 12 seen here, now stand empty, awaiting demolition as part of the Albion Hill redevelopment scheme.
