QUEENS PARK PRIMITIVE METHODIST CHURCH

3/3 photographs of this church, taken on 22 March 1970. Its future seemed uncertain, after a life of some seventy years (it was built in the 1890s) so I had it photographed in case of early demolition. I need not have worried because as I write (in 1990) the building still stands empty and boarded up. Services ceased and in 1988 plans were approved for its conversion to flats, but nothing has happened yet. Some day it will come down so here is a record of it. Rear view of the Church, from Albion Hill.
