Chassis and body divided in a mishap on the country area of the Lewes Road, just north of Bates’ Nurseries. Period not known, but thought to be about 1920. The vehicle is on the wrong side of the road, facing towards Brighton. Then, there was only one footpath – on the west side of Lewes Road.
