REGENCY SQUARE

Looking at this building at the east end of the Square on 9 September 1973, I was deceived by the ladders, scaffolding etc., into thinking that it was about to be reconstructed or even demolished. Fortunately I was wrong and it still stands. Pity that the lettering revealed at first floor level is so indistinct as it may have referred to previous occupants
