Looking north from North Road, in 1897, with the horse vans standing outside Ellis & Beal’s Mineral Water Manufactory, at Nos. 1&2. The west side of this little street has hardly changed in its life of about 130 years. 1&2 are now occupied as a garage for the General Post Office vehicles.
