WITHDEAN COURT

The house still had a single occupant in 1923 but by the next year it was empty and in 1925 it was split up into flats. In that same year, part of the garden to the south was sold and Dene Court Avenue was laid out, the first house, TreeTops, being built in 1926. It remained as flats, latterly known as Pantzer Mansions, until 1960 when it was put up for sale. Demolished in 1963 and now the vacant site awaits development.
