WITHDEAN COTTAGE

Although this photograph is captioned “Withdean Cottage” there were two cottages for the workers on Withdean Farm. (see previous page). Judging by the unusual gas lamp and post, the photograph probably dates from before the 1914/18 War. After their demolition, flats were built here.
